Why, hello! I haven’t found much time to blog recently. Between moving from Dorset to Hampshire and starting to home educate my son, there’s been a definite deficit in spare time and energy. The number of books I’ve been reading has dropped, even. But hey, that’s just how life goes sometimes!
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the future of Cosy Chapters and… I’m really unsure if I’m honest. Again, time and energy factors into this. My priority right now is to give my son the best education that I can and that means investing not only time to educate but time for planning too. At the end of the day, I want to just curl up on the armchair reading a book – and that’s okay!
Now I’m not saying that I’m ready to throw in the towel – anything but! However, I do need to find a new way to share content that works alongside my other priorities.
The most likely outcome is that I may eventually move to blogging on Instagram. This is what I’ve been doing over the past two months. But.. it doesn’t feel quite as satisfying as publishing a blog post and there are serious differences in the types of content that work on that platform. Especially now that Reels dominates the algorithms. (And those aren’t my strong suit!)
So… yeah. It’s all a bit up in the air right now. If you’re not already following me on Instagram, please do – it’s the best way to not miss any content!
